Abstract:Presents information on a study which evaluated the potential impact of an interregional milk producers cooperative and various degrees of retailer-processor integration on the prices and returns to milk producers in southeast Florida. Design of the basic model of the region's milk market; Description of the modified interregional cooperative model; Analysis of the effects of processor-retailer integration on returns to processors and retailers; Conclusions.
